THE FAMOUS TANGO LEARNING LAB | Mondays 8pm | Saturdays 2pm
Our most popular class. Perfect for all levels of dancers who need a flexible class schedule. No partner required.
Start any week, and attend either or both labs; our unique one-on-one format lets you move through the tango fundamentals at your own pace & attend class as frequently as you like without missing any material.
Each lab you'll work with two different teachers in a focused 1 to 1 setting.
The movement-based curriculum provides a concrete map of important tango figures and techniques in a sensible, progressive order.
Each lab also has a teaching component to sharpen your knowledge, deepen your mastery, and expose your weak points.
For advanced dancers, the lab offers challenging material, and extremely challenging material.
All learning labs include 2-3 hours of social dancing after the class.
The lab works best for students who attend regularly, so we recommend getting a Monthly Pass so you take full advantage of the lab.
Note for Intermediate students: because of the unique structure of the Learning Lab, all students are required to start at the beginning, but experienced dancers will advance quickly through the early levels to the more challenging material. It is also common for advanced dancers to use the Learning Lab to learn the role (leading or following) they’re less familiar with. If you’re looking for a more conventional group class, check out our Thursday intermediate class.
