This free class will provide a relaxing & fun introduction to the magic of social tango, as well as a preview of our 6 Week Beginner Series which starts the following week.

We'll learn the foundations of leading & following improvised movements within the social tango structure, with a focus on fun & connection. Every class is followed by an informal tango party called a practica, with food, drinks, and dancing with the famously friendly Oxygen Tango community; there is no charge for class attendees.

No partner required; we encourage rotating partners but it’s also ok if you’d like stick with the person you came with.

Wear clothes you can move in, and shoes you can walk backwards in. This class is held outdoors in our tango garden but we move inside as needed.
