COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

updated 9/3/23

  • Starting Jan 22, 2023, we will have a masking requirement (as well as other safety measures) at our Sunday afternoon event; all other events have no COVID requirements of participants at this time, but below you can read about the mitigations we take for our space for each event. Click here to read more about the Sunday event safety protocols, which are evolving as we collaborate with community members on these practices.

  • If you are experiencing the following symptoms, or have been in close contact in the past week with someone displaying these symptoms, we ask that you don’t attend any events:

    • Fever or chills

    • Cough

    • Nausea or Vomiting

    • Shortness of breath

    • Fatigue

    • Muscle or body aches

    • Headache

    • New loss of taste or smell

    • Sore throat

  • Our events are small, typically 30 people or less, with an average attendance of 15-20 people. From June 2021- Dec 2022, we required all attendees be vaccinated at all events & the vast majority of our community is vaccinated with the original series of shots. We don’t have statistics currently on how many folks have the booster. Masking is a normalized practice in our community, but most community members are not currently choosing to wear them at our events.

  • Both our Saturday and Sunday events are outside, weather permitting. The Tuesday and Thursday events are indoors. Our Inglewood indoor studio is equipped with one HEPA air filter, as well as good cross-ventilation with open doors, fans & windows; we also have KN95 masks and hand sanitizer available. The West LA studio (Monday nights) does not have good ventilation or air filtration; we do have masks and sanitizer available.
